WiFi at the Convention Center

January 21st, 2006 by Michelle Boule

I was under the impression that wifi was not free at the Gonzales Convention Center, but I am happily connected at this moment… for free. Those of you needing to check email, live blog, or surf during those not so riveting sessions now have an outlet. Enjoy.

It depends on where you are. I got on free on the first floor (the “00s”) which I think is the city MESH network. Now I’m on free because it’s one of those huge perks of council to get a free login, but it’s $25 and you can get a login from business services. on the other hand, if you can get free where you are… free is good!

Not free in the theatre–$4.95/connect hour. Weird–like the wireless Balkans.
