For the Opening Keynote this morning, David Lee King spoke to a standing room only audience. The presentation was great. David talked about Web 2.0 concepts and challenged us to think differently about the way we do business and think of libraries.

    David Lee King’s thesis was that everything old is bad, and everything new is good. We had never heard this before and were really impressed.

    Also, there were plenty of empty seats at the front. So, the people at the back were just lazy, mirroring the intellectual laziness that pervaded the room.
