Forum Keynote Video: Ross Singer on the Linked Data Cloud

Ross Singer delivers the closing keynote for Forum 2010: “The Linked Library Data Cloud: it’s time to stop thinking and start linking.” Ross points to some of the flaws inherent to the nature of our current metadata structures, flaws that present significant challenges to representing the rich relationships that are possible in the linked data cloud, and suggests a path forward. We have video of the whole presentation and slides (well, most of them–as you’ll hear Ross explain, please forgive any gaps 😉 ).

Don’t forget, Roy Tennant’s keynote is available as well. Amy Bruckman’s opening keynote on Wikipedia and the nature of “truth” is coming soon….
