About LITA Blog
This is the official blog for the Library and Information Technology Association, a division of the American Library Association.
LITA blog will be an interesting blog to follow if you are interested in technology in library and information systems. LITA’s mission is that it “educates, serves, and reaches out to its members, other ALA members and divisions, and the entire library and information community through its publications, programs, and other activities designed to promote, develop, and aid in the implementation of library and information technology.”
This blog launched in June, 2005 prior to the ALA Annual Conference at McCormick Place in Chicago, June 23-29. Coverage will begin with key ALA and LITA conferences (ALA Annual, ALA Midwinter, and LITA Forum). Between conferences the blog may be very quiet.
Content on this blog is produced and managed by LITA members.

Hi, just wanted to report:
In Internet Explorer, for me, the view of, for example, this page
http://litablog.org/index.php?paged=2
and for example, Top trends in translation, in the section under Andrew Pace, #2 reads:
2. Electronic Resource Management—take Electectronic Resources and serials out; make
make OPAC better
should read:
2. Electronic Resource Management—take Electectronic Resources and serials out; make access better, make OPAC better
It cuts off words on the right side of columns. Doesn’t happen in Netscape (which is using different font), doesn’t happen when I click the title of an individual posting. Default font in IE is Times New Roman but I don’t think it’s using it…
The blog is cool otherwise.
