LITA Blog Host Requirements
Here is a page to gather and track what we believe our hosting requirements are for the site that hosts LITABlog. Whether we are happy with our current host is something that we can evaluate on a yearly basis (or more frequently if needed). This is a preliminary list. If you have opinions about things on this list or recognize that something is missing from this list please feel free to comment.
(M) = Mandatory requirement
(HD) = Highly desired feature

I’m pretty happy with TextDrive, which meets all the requirements except notification of outages.

These are administration requirements.
I don’t think we considered user (reader) requirements.
Now that ALA has a metablog that can cross-search all ALA-hosted blogs, would it be valuable to ALA members (not just LITA members) for LITAblog postings to get picked up in such a search? If so, that might lean us towards the ALA-hosted option.
Anyone else want to take a stab at rank speculation about user requirements for the LITAblog?
